Athleisure 101 — A quick guide

Upon realizing that during my busiest school day next semester will involve taking a gym class, I knew that I had to step up my athleisure game. So, I figured I’d share my findings with you, which include the following:

  • Several outfits put together
  • How to go from gym to class, your next activity, etc.

Let’s get started!

Sometimes it can be hard to go right from the gym to your next errands or tasks, especially when you’re sweating like a dog. Whenever you go to the gym, remember to never wear makeup. Not only would it mess up your makeup for the rest of the day if you don’t bring your makeup with you or just have no way of touching it up, but it can clog your pores and make you break out! If you have to bring all of your belongings with you in the beginning of the day (like me), make sure to bring your makeup bag and facial cleanser or wipes. If you usually wear makeup, try to leave for the gym 10-15 minutes earlier, or stop your routine 10-15 minutes earlier, that way you can quickly freshen up and apply your makeup.

If you have to bring your clothing to the gym, make sure you hang whatever it is that should be hung in your locker/cubby in case of wrinkles. You want to pull off being “on the go” as effortlessly as possible!

I really hope you enjoyed this quick guide to Athleisure!
