These trends have been seen on the runway numerous times. Chloe, Victoria Beckham, Jil Sanders, DVF, Phillip Lim, and many more designers have been taking notice of these trends that are taking the fashion world by storm. Keep these in your wardrobe for 2016, and you’ll be up to date no matter where you go. Guaranteed.
1. Ruffles and puffy sleeves
We’re talking peasant shirts, loads of tulle and lace, and femininity.

2. “X”-Treme silhouette
This silhouette can be found in dresses, blouses, crop tops, etc. Wear it to work, to a dinner date, and out on the town! This is very flattering on mostly all body types!

3. White
For me, white can be very hard to wear because of my light complexion. However, as long as you style the outfit the right way, you can pull off mostly any outfit with white! With the right accessories, makeup, and hair, you’ll look on point. (All white optional, obviously!)

4. Flat shoes
Flats, flat boots, flat anything! Don’t models wear heels on the runway? Oddly enough, several runway shows featured models wearing flat shoes (as if they needed a height boost).

5. Pleats
YES! I love pleats. They are so flattering, especially in high waisted midi skirts. Pleats are so easy to style because they are simple, but look so chic.

6. High waisted everything
High waisted skirts, shorts, pants. It is very flattering on the hips, and easily makes your outfit stand out!

7. Lingerie inspired
Lingerie inspired is anything from long slip dresses, to full satin or silk shirts, and lace trims. Calvin Klein and Alexander Wang really stressed this on their F/W ’15 runway shows. This trend is sexy, minimalistic, and feminine. You really can style it however you desire! No matter what style you lean toward, it can suit every one of them with ease!

8. Fringe
Fringe everything! This 70’s inspired trend is still making an appearance and possibly an even bigger breakthrough this year! Keep an eye out for accessories like shoes and bags.

9. Half moon bag
I started seeing this a lot online on Chloe’s website. Then as I was shopping in many stores like Aldo, Zara, and Urban Outfitters, I noticed it so much more! Some of the original Chloe bags have a golden link chain, but I’m not really a fan of that for I think it’s quite uncomfortable. But to each his own!

10. Suede
Suede will be taken to a whole new level this year. With appliqués, patchwork, and other embellishments. With a simple blouse, you can dress up any suede skirt effortlessly.
