Recent styling project…

Hi guys!

Recently, for my styling class, I was assigned a project in which I had to style five looks with one article of clothing. I was assigned the Little Black Dress (thank god!). My roommate Maddy was my model, and we pulled most of the clothing from my closet and a little from hers. Styling is definitely something that I would love to get more involved in, as a hobby, a job, internship, or anything!

I hope you guys enjoy the looks!

Look one is considered street-wear chic. She’s on the go, but is still conscious of her outfit. Plus, the denim button up can be styled as shown and thrown on if it gets chilly. The accessories complete the outfit and make if a bit more feminine!

Look two goes out to those hard working corporate women out there that can’t seem to balance dressing professional, fashionable, and comfortable at the same time. With this look, it’s easy! As fall comes into full swing, throw on some tights and booties instead of the flats!

Look three is easily one of my favorites. The cardigan adds a stylish and feminine touch, while the belt synchs in and balances the look. Knee-high socks are definitely an essential in any girls fall wardrobe and it’s also the simplest.  They can dress up and dress down any outfit that you choose, but I feel in this case, we found a happy medium!Screen Shot 2015-09-30 at 10.21.06 PMLook four is considered a simple, outgoing look for a night out. The statement necklace pairs well with the neckline of the vest and the heeled booties add extreme edginess.

Look five is a night look on full throttle. All black, with all gold accessories really scream sexy, classy, and fun.

I hope you enjoyed this article! There is more to come with the continuation of my styling class and the assignments and projects, so I will be happy to share more!
