So, summer is around the corner which means SUN and CHLORINE. Your hair is going to need extreme care during the summer. This is why I decided to steer away from a fashion article and share some at home remedies with you all to keep your hair shiny and clean!
1.) Avocado and egg
Use this remedy for damaged hair. Apply when your hair is wet and leave in for 20 minutes, then rinse. Use this no more than twice a month because it will make your hair greasy!
2.) Butter
If you have brittle hair and split ends this will work great. Apply the butter when your hair is dry and leave a shower cap on it for 20-30 minutes, then shampoo and condition as needed.
3.) Olive oil
Moisturize your hair with olive oil and replace it as your conditioner. Take half of a cup and make it luke-warm. Once the oil is spread evenly, wrap the length of your hair in a plastic bag. This will ensure the oils will stay in place. After your hair is in the bag, wrap it all up in a towel. After 45 minutes, rinse and then shampoo.
4.) Tea
To give your hair a more natural shine, rinse with warm unsweetened after your shampoo. If you have your hair colored, this will work even better because tea enhances it.
5.) Omelet
To add more volume to your hair, mix an egg with a small dollop of your shampoo. Leave this in your hair for 5 minutes and rinse very well. This will help with the protein in your hair.
